Collecting trinkets is one way that I take home the experience from an encounter with the outdoors. Lining the pockets of my jacket or jeans you can almost always find the tiny souvenirs collected from a walk in the woods or a stroll along the beach. Shells and stones, leaves, and seeds weren’t just for my little ones. To this day, I marvel at the beauty of the shape, color, and intricacies of what the Creator gifts to us daily. Today’s Media Monday applauds the creativity and talent of photographer Simon Dell. I’ve included links to his website and YouTube channels and below I mention his two Facebook pages. Wildlife photographer Simon Dell from Sheffield, United Kingdom, has two wonderfully creative Facebook pages that entertain and celebrate the beauty of the outdoors, inviting us to look a little closer, engage our imagination, and delight in the adventures of his little Oak Folk that live in the garden.

Upon further research (really, I was so enthralled with these acorn people that I went down the internet rabbit hole – LOL) I found the original creator of the Oak Folk. Although his Facebook page is in Czech (all the more reason I love them), there is an English version of photographer and creator, Petr Vaclavek’s, website. The creativity of these two men and their wildlife photography inspires me. I hope it inspires you too!
