If you’ve been following along with January’s Media Monday posts, you’ll see a bit of a theme here as I enter a new leg of this journey of faith. You know God is trying to get your attention when he places repeated messages through people, words, or songs, into your ordinary days.
It was almost ten years now that I wrote this story about the start of a difficult season of life. It’s hard to believe it’s been ten years. The juxtaposition between the waves in the story from ten years ago and today’s Media Monday post, reveals how God patiently guides us when we are faithful to keep showing up and learning what He’s trying to teach us.
My heart resonates with this line from this week’s song from We The Kingdom –
Your past is dead and gone. Your healing has begun. I’m making all things new. Watch Me do it!
Dancing On The Waves – We The Kingdom
Watch ME do it, He says! Your healing has begun.
From drowning in the waves to dancing on them, He’s showing me through these words that He pursues me like a lover, not simply waiting, but chasing and romancing me (my word of the year); calling my attention to His presence.
